For quite some time I have been offer support on the XSitePro forum with many tips and tricks for using CSS to extend and expand upon any XSitePro website. Any website really, not justy XSitePro made sites.

Everything from global font sizes, to borders and drop shadows, to redirecting pages and domains, and running PHP on HTML. A wide range of techniques for getting the most out of your web site.

Now that I have launched Shop XSitePro Version 2 I have started collecting all those tips and adding them to the tips section of the site. Expanding on the resources offered by this site. I will continue adding all tips I post on the forums, plus tips that never make it onto the forum, jst this site.

I have had a renewed interest in creating unique custom design XSitePro template and WordPress themes. I put out three new XSitePro templates last week, and one of which I loved so much I had to use it for this site.

I decided to do a full upgrade of the ShopXSitePro site from the ground up. I applied the new template and customized it a little further in about an hour.

Then I updated some of the content in the FAQ’s and segmented the tips into individual pages so ease of use.

Then, and this is an important one, I silohed the entire site, for SEO and ease of use.

I also moved some items around and set up a free template section. Members of the ShopXSitePro newsletter get access to a couple of free templates, as well as bonus offers. Yes, bonus offers. I am putting together a package of templates for sale only to members.

After the site was done, I used the WordPress theme for this site, and updated the WordPress blog with the new XSitePro theme. Upgraded to WordPress 2.7 and updated all my plugins.

Total time for this major update and overhaul, was 4 hours. Not bad if I do say so myself.
